Riverside ryokan and onsen: TAKITEI Riverside Onsen is a 5-star ryokan on the Saigawa River in Kanazawa, known for natural hot spring baths and seasonal Kaiseki cuisine made with Hokuriku ingredients and seafood from the Sea of Japan.
Baths and outdoor soaking: A large communal bath is fed by pure, naturally flowing hot spring water. Selected rooms have private open-air baths using the same natural hot spring water.
Rooms and traditional touches: Rooms have private bathrooms with a bath and shower, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator and seating area. Some rooms include tatami floors, balconies and mountain or river views, and yukata are provided.
Kaiseki dining and ambience: The on-site restaurant serves Kaiseki dinner made from seasonal local produce. Breakfast follows an Asian menu.
Garden, parking and location: The ryokan overlooks an inner garden and stream. Free off-site private parking is available. Kanazawa city centre is about a 20-minute drive, Higashi Chaya District is nearby and Komatsu Airport is roughly 39 km away.
